This is a sheet you can use in two ways: to observe groups and take notes, or to do explicit coding. If you want to code, see the spreadsheet in the resources tab.

Each mode comes in triads: the mode, its deformation, and its primitive variant.  We hypothesize that effective groups periodically reverse between modes within the same modality,  e.g., "Challenge" to "Consensus" and back. Groups that are ineffective regress to deformations or primitive variants within a mode, e.g.,  from "Challenge" to "Fight" or "Destroy."
